Playworld Birthday Party

We had Jansen's 6th birthday party at playworld in Conway and he had so much fun with all of his friends that were able to come! The above picture is Jansen with all of his presents.

Jansen turns 6!

Jansen turned 6 years old on May 3, 2011. How in the world is this possible? He is growing up way to fast and is our pride and joy! We celebrated on the day of his birthday by going to Marketplace for dinner. We love to eat at Marketplace for birthdays because you get a free Chocolate Butter Mess....Our favortie dessert!

In celebration of Jillian's first birthday, one of my dearest friends, Cindy, had this arrangement made and placed at our church. It was beautiful and so very thoughtful of her and her family. Something I will never forget!

And just for smiles I had to include Jansen and Conner. These boys love an umbrella!

Baseball Boy!

In March 2011 Jansen played baseball (t ball) for the first time and had so much fun! Jack was his coach and mommy had lots of fun watching my sweet boy on the baseball diamond! I hope there is many more years to come of this sport! I love baseball!

Jansen's first sleepover! How cute and sweet are these pictures? He wanted his friend Brody to spend the night and they both did great! They slept upstairs by themselves in the playroom all night and had a great time! This was in March 2011

Just for my keepsake, when I finally do print a book with all my posts one day, I want to have as much included as I can so I'm attempting to go back through pictures from our last year and highlight all the fun moments together as a family! Spring break, March 2011 we went to our good frind Emily's hometown to her parents house and enjoyed a few days together and then went to my in laws cabin in their hometown and enjoyed a few days. The above pic is Jansen and Brooks on the paddleboat at Paw Paw's pond.

So I have come to the conclusion that I will probably not be keeping up with life happenings on this blog as I had intended when I first started it a long time ago. I cannot believe we have begun another year! 2012 is here! We have had a very good 2011 with lots of fun times with Jansen and the biggest event was the birth of our sweet Maddox on November 15, 2011. I have full intentions to try to recap this past year with pics of our highlighted events but will include a few of Maddox! Maddox weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces ( the exact same as Jansen did when he was born) and was 20 inches long. He was born via C section since I have previously had 2 already. He was perfectly healthy and had a head full of dark hair. Many pictures from the operating room really show his resemblance to Jillian! It is amazing at times I see how much he looks like her! I like to think it's just her living on through him in all our lives! We have been so blessed with Maddox in our life bringing much happiness and hope back into our home. We are so very in love with him more and more everyday. We cannot wait to watch him grow in this new year 2012!
