Snow...Again!

This little boy cannot get any cuter!!!! My sweet nephew Kyle having fun at our house on one of our snow days.

This was my idea of fun during the snow... Our friends Andy and Emily came over and brought their Wii with a dancing game and everyone took a turn competing against Jansen! He actually won a few rounds too!

Daniel and Jansen dancing together... notice Jack and Andy relaxing in the background!

Like Father Like Son!

Aunt Rita and J competing against each other... by far Rita has better moves than all of the other adults!
This was my idea of fun during the snow! Mommy and J dancing together!

Jillian's flowers and vase was all you could see with all the snow. Her marker was completely covered.

Driving through the cemetary going to see Jillian's grave in the snow. We couldn't even see the road!

J riding his bike on our road! So cute!

J and Daddy did a lot of this during the snowy days! Notice J still has his pj's on and it was afternoon when I took this picture!

2011 has proven to be the year for snow in Arkansas! I don't ever remember this much snow! This time we got about 7 inches here in central Arkansas! If it is going to snow I would rather get a lot like this so it is worth being stuck inside the house! The above pic is Jack and Jansen riding bikes down the road in front of our house. Jansen said it was really hard and he kept getting stuck!

This picture is looking out across our front yard and that is our neighbor's house across the street. You really can't even tell where the road is at!

Our front porch and yard... beautiful!

This is how deep it was on our picnic table while it was still snowing. It actually got a lot deeper before it was over.

Our backyard snow covered!

The last of the Snow Pics....

Jansen and Daddy made 2 wonderful snowmen in our yard... Plans were to just make one but Jansen had the wonderful idea to make a little snowman for him and Jillian! Always still thinking of his sister!

The boys with their snowmen they made! Lovely!!!!

This may be one of my favorite pictures.... Jansen's snow angel he made all by himself!

In the process of making the snow angel

And this pretty much sums up the whole day.... exhausting for one certain 5 year old little boy who I love more than he will ever know! I couldn't get this put in the right place so it will have to go here instead of at the end... just pretend this is the last pic after reading the entire post! Notice he is still holding the hand warmers while he is sound asleep!

After we all had enough sledding down the big hill, we decided to go to Michael and Cindy's neighborhood to ride on a sled while being pulled behind Michael's 4 wheeler. Jansen really had fun with this! The above picture is Megan, Jack, Jansen, Rachel, and Michael.

Jansen getting ready for a ride

He's loving it riding on his tummy!

Still going!

Trying it while sitting this time!
We had a wonderful time playing in the snow this year! Thanks to our great friends Michael, Cindy, and their girls for sharing in the fun day with us! Maybe we will get more snow before this winter is over!!

A lot of the pictures will be out of order but here is our snow adventure a few weeks ago. We got about 4 inches of snow on Sunday night so Jansen was out of school for 2 days! The above picture of the 3 of us at the local country club. It is absolutely beautiful when it snows. The beauty doesn't last long as it is known through town as the place to go sledding down the big hill! Jack and Jansen have gone the past few years with some of our other friends and they have a blast. Guess who was talked into going this year.... Me! It really was fun, although I would much rather be home in my warm house watching the snow from the inside!

God's beautiful creation

On the way to our sledding adventure, we stopped by the cemetary to get a few pictures of Jillian's flowers in the snow. This pic was after we brushed some of the snow off.

Already uncovered with the snow brushed off by Daddy

This is the before shot with all the snow still covering her marker. We really got quite a bit of snow!

Jansen was sooo excited, as was Daddy if you can tell by the pictures! When we got home from evening worship service on Sunday night the ground was covered enough to play in, so the boys just couldn't wait any longer!
Already throwing snowballs at each other about 9:00pm at night!

Jansen and Daddy posing just long enough for a picture for Mommy!

Jansen showing me some of the snow in his hand.
